To all,
I hope everyone had a great 4th
of July weekend with family and friends. I would like
to start by thanking all those who helped out while Dot
was on vacation, all the people who have helped with the
many picnics and functions we have had at the lodge recently,
and all of those who made the golf tournament another success
this year. Everyone's help is greatly appreciated.
The following events are upcoming.
Tonight we have Jim Haas performing in the social
quarters from 7-11pm. He is an Elvis Impersonator
and runs karaoke. A number of members have asked for
him to perform here and so you all get your chance to see
him tonight. I hope to see you there. It should
be a great time. Monday the 13th is our first, of
what I hope is many to come, Officer's Day. The officers
will be cooking, serving, and bar tending for your pleasure
in an effort to give back to the lodge. All tips that
we earn will go to the endowment fund. I hope you
will come out and give us your support. Sid Alexander
will be having his picnic on July 25th. I am not sure
what is on the menu yet, but look for fliers soon in the
social quarters. Sid is one of the lodge trustees
and I hope you will all come out and support him for his
first picnic. We also have the State Convention in
Richmond that runs from July 16th - July 19th. I will
be there and hope to see many other lodge members.
This month is a very busy month
for me personally. There is a lot of Moose things
that need to be attended to and my personal job is very
busy this month. I will be a little less visible this
month for those reasons, but always feel free to come talk
to me when you see me there. You can also e-mail any
time and I will try and reply in a timely manner.
I hope everyone has a nice weekend and that you come out
and support our upcoming events.
Take care and God Bless,
William Bean
